Sauna rituals at V Spa offer extraordinary ways to relax and <\/strong>experience the sauna culture<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finnish sauna ritual:
\n<\/strong>During the 10-minute ritual, the guests are expected only to relax and celebrate the heat along with the sauna master. The ritual consists of various elements from using the traditional Estonian \"viht<\/em>\" (collection of tree branches) in the beginning, to using the\u00a0ice cold water during the hottest part of the ritual, to cool down. Everyone is welcome to attend, if they are sure their health withstands it. If the ritual turns out to be hotter than expected, there is always a chance to sit on a lower level or leave earlier.<\/p>\n

Aroma ritual
\n<\/b>The V Spa aroma ritual takes you far away from everyday worries with its scents and sounds. During a 10-minute journey, you disconnect from your daily routine to immerse yourself in the aromas of conifers, citrus fruits, and various flowers. Your task is simply to close your eyes, relax, and enjoy. The aroma ritual is perfect for both starting and ending your spa visit.
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

Shea butter ritual<\/strong>
\nTitled as \"gold of African women\", shea butter can now be found in the very heart of Tartu, at V Spa. Shea butter is a key component in our two-course sauna rituals held in the Russian banya. Our guests can first treat their skin with ice cold and aromatic shea butter that heals and protects the skin, leaving it smelling like sweet raspberries or melted chocolate. In the second half of the ritual our guests can treat themselves with a marma points massage that has a harmonious and balancing effect on the whole body. The 10-minute ritual leaves a protective layer of shea butter on the skin, which is why it is recommended to leave the ritual at the end of your visit.<\/p>\n

Moroccan ritual
\n<\/strong>The Moroccan ritual is ideal for both the beginning and the middle of a spa visit. Its cleansing effect prepares the body for the upcoming saunas and aquatics. First, the participants apply sabon bildi, the Moroccan black soap, to their skin, the smell and texture of which you\u2019ll recognize immediately if you have visited Moroccan or Turkish baths. This is followed by skin exfoliation with brown sugar and Estonian honey to remove dead skin cells. By the end of the ritual, your skin is squeaky clean and the nourishing effect of the honey will stay with you for just a little longer.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whisk Ritual<\/strong>
\nThe Whisk Ritual offers a calm and meditative sauna experience where participants can explore different sauna whisks and their unique properties. The ritual begins calmly with each type of whisk introduced one by one\u2014each tree brings its own unique aroma and qualities, creating a special connection to nature. With each steam infusion, the sauna fills with diverse aromas as the heat gradually increases. The ritual reaches its peak with whisking, which highlights the power of the whisks, refreshing and cleansing both body and mind.<\/p>\n

Hot and Cold Ritual<\/strong>
\nThe Hot and Cold Ritual provides an energetic and invigorating sauna experience, where two sauna masters create a unique experience through alternating temperatures. The ritual begins at a gentle pace as the sauna masters introduce the benefits of alternating hot and cold, along with Kneipp\u2019s theory. Soon, the ritual becomes more intense as the sauna masters skillfully play with hot and cold sensations, filling the room with shifting sensations and lively energy. The ritual culminates with an intense steam infusion, bringing a fresh and balanced feeling to the body and leaving a pleasant energy charge in the air.<\/p>\n
